A set contains 12 pictures. Each picture is shown for 30 seconds, followed by 4 minutes to write a story. The 12th picture is blank, allowing you to imagine a situation and write your own story.
Observe the situation carefully and include what led to it, what is happening and the likely outcome.

You will be given 60 situations with 30 minutes available. Imagine yourself in each situation and write how you would realistically respond. Work with speed while keeping your responses practical and natural.

Practise discussing contemporary and relevant topics. Understand the issue, identify the important arguments and learn to express your views clearly while listening and contributing constructively to the group.
LECTURETTE - PRACTICE TOPICS
Organise Your Thoughts. Speak with Confidence.
Select a topic and use approximately 2½–3 minutes for preparation. Quickly identify your main points, arrange them logically and practise speaking clearly and confidently.
GROUP PLANNING EXERCISE (GPE) - PRACTICE TOPICS
Analyse. Prioritise. Plan.
Study the given situation carefully. Identify the problems, available resources, priorities and time constraints. Develop a practical solution and be prepared to explain how your plan can be executed.
