The Defence Career Club (DCC) by Alpha Lead Academy is a unique initiative that enables college students to prepare for a Defence career alongside their graduation — without disrupting their academic schedule.
Through this club, students receive structured training and mentorship for both SSB interviews and written examinations such as CDS, AFCAT, and technical entries of the Army and Navy (Army Tech, Navy Tech, etc.).
Each student progresses through a systematic curriculum that builds Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs), physical fitness, communication, leadership, and confidence — ensuring that by the time they complete their final year of graduation, they are fully prepared and eligible to apply for the Armed Forces entries.
The Defence Career Club is already active in reputed institutions:
• GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysuru
• GSSS Degree College, Mysuru
• Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru
…and several more colleges joining soon across Karnataka.
All sessions are conducted by experienced officers and assessors from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, each with over a decade of experience in the Service Selection Boards (SSB).
Students receive authentic guidance, GTO-style physical training, and individual mentoring to build both competence and confidence.
This initiative ensures that every Defence Career Club member graduates not only with a degree but also with a direction — ready to serve the nation as a commissioned officer.
